Saturating the Sound with Gospel needs to be fueled by prayer.
We believe that prayer is key to our vision of equipping, serving and making disciples in the great Puget Sound region.
Saturate the Sound is committed to regularly praying for our region, our cities, our neighborhoods, our churches, our families, and truly every person in the Puget Sound. We believe praying to the Triune God is a privilege and a work, so we urge and equip local churches, pastors, and Christians to pray for the Puget Sound with expectant hearts and with disciplined petitions.
PASTORAL HEALTH AND LEARNING
Saturating the Sound with the gospel requires healthy churches and church leaders. So, we are committed to collectively providing church-based theological education that is robust, integrated and highly missional.
Bill Clem, the steering team lead over pastoral health and learning, leads pastoral cohorts across the Puget Sound in seeking Jesus together while also having mutual accountability.
These cohorts are transformational communities that help transform communities in the Puget Sound.
Making Disciples
Saturating the Sound requires telling people about the hope of Jesus. Our vision is for the hope of Jesus to spread throughout the Puget Sound as we gather together with pastors, sharing stories and praying together. So, we focus on equipping church leaders and thier churches to bring the gospel to every man, woman and child in the Puget Sound.
The more people put their hope in Jesus, the more healing and transformation we will see.
CHURCH PLANTING
Saturating the Sound with the Gospel requires more churches.
80% of new Christians in North America come from Church Plants.
We believe that we need more churches opening doors than closing their doors, this is essential for a lasting legacy of the Gospel in the Puget Sound. So, Saturate the Sound connects church-leaders through our local city-networks to work together, even across denominational lines, to plant churches as a unified church with shared church planting residencies and resources.
COMMON GOOD
Saturating the Sound with the Gospel is so much more than preaching a message of hope with our mouths, it is also taking action to make our communities better and advancing the common good.
The gospel teaches us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and we do this because Jesus Christ first loved us. So, by connecting pastors through local city-networks, we aim to create and promote city-wide initiatives that better our neighborhoods and communities, and eventually our region.
